SYNOPSIS
The Candy Shop is a farce comedy, that parodies urban classics like Barbershop and Hustle & Flow. It’s centered around egocentric airbrush artist, ANTWON LEMIUEX (Omar Gooding – Baby Boy, Playmakers) With his love of women and the female anatomy, he opens the first lingerie shop in the hood that specializes in sexy body paint – From SEXY LOLLIPOP SWIRLS to $100 BILLS, so you walk out feeling like a million bucks!
The Candy Shop is where it all goes down. Filled with plenty of Eye Candy and packed with a crazy ensemble cast - Featuring OFFICER DANKLEBERRY (Bracken Johnson - Napoleon Dynamite), Antwon’s crazy sidekick, HALO (Guillermo Diaz – Half baked, Dave Chapelle Show) SMIDDY (Ray Stoney – Remember the Titans, The Longest Yard) the aspiring wanna-be pimp slash rapper.
They all get entangled with CJ, the local bootleg hustler, selling everything from baby goats to dialysis machines and Superstar KOCK DEISEL, the epitome of a hard gangster rapper, who’s out to take over the Candy Shop. It’s all just another day in the hood but when the Candy Shop goes on the line, the stakes quickly draw high.
